Tuberculosis (BCG)

BCG is the mandatory tuberculosis vaccine. In Poland it is given to newborns from the first day of life, usually before discharge from hospital. It protects infants from the most severe forms of tuberculosis.

  • Disseminated tuberculosis

  • When 1: Weeks 1–2 of life
