Chickenpox (varicella)

The chickenpox vaccine prevents the disease and its complications. In Poland it is recommended and, for most children, paid; the course is 2 doses starting from 9–15 months.

  • Chickenpox
  • Shingles later in life
  • Bacterial complications of chickenpox

Doses

  • When 1: From 9 months
  • When 2: From 15 months or before school
